Analyst slams Hakainde Hichilema and Mmusi Maimane
“They are sponsored by the Germany Socialist and George Soros Foundation to promote neoliberalism in Africa”-Izak Khomo
A renowned analyst on Africa has slammed the politics being practiced by United Party for National Development (UPND) Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia and Democratic Alliance (DA) leader of South Africa, Mmusi Maimane.
The analyst has accused the duo of being pawns for western forces led by the German Socialist party, the George Soros Foundation, and the Brenthurst Foundation of South Africa; wings which he termed represented imperialists forces in Africa.
Speaking on SABC News, Izak Khomo warned Africans to be wary of such leaders that were promoting politics that would serve the economic interests of outsiders.
He also dismissed allegations that Zambia was experiencing a dictatorship and stated that institutions of democracy in Zambia were intact.
Mr. Khomo said the only thing President Lungu could be accused of would be driving a leadership that was strong-handed.
He said the cross-boundary politics being practiced by the two parties through their self created organ called the Southern Africa Partnership for Democracy (SAPD) were alien even to the United States of America (USA) as the sovereignty and autonomy of states ought to be respected.
He said the calls for foreign interference by the two opposition into Zambia were premature and unfounded as the country was still a good Democracy with democratic instructions intact.
